The “DIPLOMAT” is one of a pair of fully featured stand-alone product to follow up the Tote. Primarily, it’s a laptop or tablet and business style EDC unit. Like the Tote, this is a build-to-order product with multiple variations on two formats.

The Diplomat is a Top Loader(AKA a Toaster)

It’s a top loading style with a zip along the top that wraps a couple of inches down the sides. This gives you good access for stowing your laptop into the full padded laptop section, as well as access to the admin panel on the front side.

Both serve as a side carry with short asymmetric grab handles, but can also carry as a shoulder bag, with offset tuck away aluminium ‘D’ rings.

Both also feature a luggage pass-through on the back.

Hook Ups
Saving the best to last, the Ancoats Diplomat ticks an extra box…it works together with the Ancoats 4-Way tote. If you’re carrying the tote and want to pack a few more things, the Attaché will piggy-back the tote to give you one piece of combined carry.

Please Note: As this is a new iteration of the Diplomat, the pictures I have are of the Attaché version and show old style front branding. This is the only one to have previously been built, and it is shown fitted to an MA-1a Bømber Ops with additional accessories and attachments(!), in some images you can see the Fidlock Accessory straps (orange) and the “Front Mount Straps” (to attach a Diplomat or Attaché to the front), as well as the MA-1a Bømber Attaché.
